My internet posts say "4 hours ago"

When I make a post on the internet, or send an email, it shows up as "sent 4 hours ago", the very instant after I send or post it. I am currently in Sao Paulo Brazil, and have the clock on my computer set to the current time here in Brazil, but I don't know what to do about this 4 hour problem.

Does someone know which setting I need to change on my system or in my browser?
