I've been on my iPad for the last couple of hours and it suddenly stopped responding to every touch. Seems like it's totally bricked. No apps will launch, it won't turn off. Is it toast?

EDIT: Apple support helped me force start the device. This worked great. When I had tried this before all it did was take a screenshot.
