I have no idea what is going on. But for the past month I've noticed our internet suddenly halts to a crawl. And I've noticed if I turn off the wifi on my iPhone 12, then suddenly all the devices throughout my house start working again. When I turn back on my Wifi on the iPhone it doesn't immediately cause the issue. But sometimes as much as a few times a day this will happen.

Does anyone have any idea?

This. Sounds like your router is giving priority to your iPhone.
Thanks, do you know if there’s a way I could change this? Oddly, even on the iPhone this behavior causes its internet to freeze up along with all other devices on the network. So if it’s giving a priority to the iPhone it’s still causing the internet to grind to a halt until I turn WiFi off and then everything instantly goes back to normal (including the iPhone which would then be using cellular)

One thing to try, although it may not make a difference…The default for WiFi on later versions of iOS is to use a private address. Try turning that off in WiFi settings.
