It says Dock Connector in one of the pictures i attached... when i dont own a dock, and my iphone has never been put in any dock since i've owned it... i did a hard reset and it still thinks the iPhone is in a dock, and i cant hear my phone ring or hear txt messages anymore, because the volume bar disappears... it's just really frustrating!

Try to clean out your iPhone dock connection with compressed air. Dust may be getting in the way, making the iPhone think its in a dock or connected to something.

If this doesn't work, call Apple or head to an Apple store.

Probably because you have a Beyonce album on your phone. :D

Just kidding! That is really strange, have you tried calling Apple?

yeah, i already used the compressed air to try to clean the dock connection, but it didnt make a difference... i think im just going to bring it to the apple store.

try checking your email once in a while. also, its probably asking for a doc because you have zero battery left.
