I picked up the iphone a couple weeks ago and I got the White 16 Gb model.
At first I was lost on how to do anything but i kept playing with the phone till I got used to it.
Within the 2nd week I learned how to jailbreak my phone and I love my phone even more.
AT&T signal: Most of the time I have full bars. I havent had a drop call because Iused to hear people cry about AT&T service.
Battery life: When I first got the phone I lowered the britness and turned off the wifi connection (I only turn on the wifi when im gonna use the phone then I'll turn it back off.)so I havent experienced the and battery life dramatic draining.
Texting: At first I had a really hard time with this. I have really big fingers lol. After awhile I got used to it. Before AT&T I was with Sprint and I would average 17k text a month. This is my first month and I[ve only used 8600 text. I learned from friends that I would be able to send pics a certain way to friends with other providers. Sending pics to other iphone users was easy as well. I could use the beejive app. or send to an email.
Camera: For being a 2 megapixel camera it has amazing quality. The pictures I take come out very nice. I also installed the cycorder app. and that has a great quality recording.

Next saturday I am gonna go back to the store and get the invisishield installed. The store installs it for us and they do a great job. I had friends go to the same place and they recommend it. They charge $44 and put the case on in about 45 minutes.

On another note, for my hobby I like to gambe. prior to buying my iphone I went to the casino and I won $695. The next day i bought the iphone lol. So I can say I got this iphone for free. This is so far my best buy I've ever made. I look forward to using it more and will keep you posted on if I do anything else.

I really love this phone because I can make it different from other peoples iphones.

17,000 texts per month? Really?

Ya Ima text whore...the most I ever did was 23k. I text to 7 or 8 people daily just to see whats up. This was when I was with Sprint. I had the Treo 755 burgundy color.

So let's say 8 people daily to "see what's up"...

17,000/30 = 567 texts/day

567/8 = 71 texts/person/day

And since AT&T is into thievery and charges its customers for incoming AND outgoing, I guess that would come to approximately 35 texts sent to each person.

Not so staggering after the math is done I suppose.

I agree with the camera...while not a replacement for real cameras, it works well for grap a new quick pic for me.

See how rarely I use a camera, the iPhone is enough of a replacement for me
