When I bought my iPhone 3G, I didnt get it from apple, I bought it off a third-party vendor. It worked perfectly when i bought it but i wanted to jailbreak it. I was afraid to do it myself so I paid someone to jailbreak it for me. When I got my phone back from the person who jailbroke it, he said the jailbreak failed and it was broken or bricked badly. So he needed to change a component or part in the iPhone for it to work. after that, the iphone worked well but the screen constantly turns on by itself and im sure its not that the sleep/wake button or the home button is broken. I have noticed that when I turn the lights off and the room is dark that the screen stops turning on by itself so maybe it has something to do with the light sensor, and when I have it connected to a power source it also doesn't turn on by itself. I want to know if someone can help me because this is draining my battery life and its annoying. I know this is a little to much to ask for but please help. Thank you in advance
