My iphone 4 can't transfer photos to my retina mini

I have an iphone 4 with ios 6.1.3 not jailbroken and an ipad mini retina on 7.1.1. I took some photos with my iphone and than I turned on photo stream feature on both devices but the photos from the iphone don't transfer them selfs to the photo stream server. I have a very good wifi connection, both devices are signed up with the same apple ID and photo stream is of course turned on. The thing is that those photos are taken before I turned on photo stream on both devices but if I take a picture now, it sends it self to the ipad too via photostream.

No, the photos taken before you enabled PhotoStream on the both devices probably won't transfer over.
