The lock button on my 4 is jammed and has been for months. It will work but you really have to push hard and has lost it's click. Just wondering what I should do.. Send it off to Apple? Try repairing it myself? Thanks

For now .. go to settings... General.... Accessibility... and turn on Assistive touch. THis will give you a virtual home button on the screen.

Apples way of fixing the home button issues.

I think he's talking about the lock button on the top.
Not the home button.

FWIW, there's also a virtual lock button in those accessibility settings.

Id you've had it for a year or less, or have a warranty on it, then take it into the Apple store and see what they can do.
