Anyone else having an issue where they bought a new iPhone while already having a Macbook and notice that the screen of the Macbook now looks like **** after having looked at the iPhone?

That's why I use only laptops/tablets with IPS displays.

Some cheap alternatives to the poorly constructed / poor display ridden macbooks are ThinkPads. Some models have been using IPS displays years before Apple decided they were fashionable.

T43 (any 15" model should have an IPS display)
T60p (any 15" model with a 4:3 aspect ratio should have an IPS display)
X41 Tablet (IPS) 1024X768 ... you can buy one on ebay for $200
X61 Tablet with SuperView display (IPS) 1400X1050 SXGA+
X200 Tablet with FlexView Ourdoor/Superbright displays (IPS) 1280X800

There's even a model of the X200 Tablet that has an IPS Touchscreen with true Multitouch support.

Lol I mean my MBP's screen isn't shabby at all, it's actually really nice but it leaves something to be desired after looking at my shiny new IP4 all day.

Haha, I'm using my Unibody White MacBook, and let me tell you having the iPhone 4 next to it, and comparing the screen..

details on the iPhone 4, is amazing!
love it to death.
i'm getting my invisible shield this week.
