My iphone 5 is connected to 3g?

I have verizon and lte is in my area. Why am I connected to 3g? thanks

Do you have LTE turned on? If so go back to the store as it may be provisioned wrong. Another user on here had the same issue, they has his provisioned as a 4.

I have it turned on but it still says 3G. I guess I should call verizon

Have you tried other parts of your city? If not, give that a try as you may not be "in" the 4G area at your house.
