Week 38 starts today, or yesterday (our time) in China since they are a day ahead

Yeah I was just thinking that! Well 38 is the only 2 digit number I the serial. It's:

C38X8XXXXXXX

Perhaps I've misunderstood?

EDIT: Oh I understand now!!! I'm week 34. Thought it was hot off the press!!

Mine starts with C and is week 38.

You sure? Wolfram Alpha says today is Week 37. Did you enter the number into http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html, or just read the digits from it. Mine is also C38, but it is made week 35 according to the decoder.

[Edit]Slow typing. So yeah, use the linked site to decrypt. I think the letter might be the factory, the number is possibly the machine that made it. At least in the past factory and machine have been paired.

I'm guessing you weren't part of the initial batch? Will you be getting it on friday?

I'm getting both of these on the 21st September.

Here's mine:

Have got nano sim cutter and a bunch of prototype nano sims i've made, if they're successful in working i'll be selling them on ebay, or you can PM me if you want me to shave your current micro sim down to a nano sim.

I really hope Apple has to gremlins worked out for the first wave new iPhone design. Unlike the 4.

Hm. There's two iPod classics and an iPod nano that I got rid of long ago. An iPhone 3GS that I got rid of about a year and a half ago. A 1st gen iPad that I had for about two months then sold to get books for school. An iPhone 4 that isn't even the iPhone 4 I have now. Strangely, my current iPhone 4 isn't there. My iPhone 5 just changed to preparing for shipment about 15 minutes ago and isn't there yet. I'm assuming I was part of the initial batch since I ordered at 12:15pst / 1:15gmt (my time) from the Apple Store iOS app.
