My iPhone Froze... I dont know what to do.

Hey, so I was on my phone earlier and I got that new app where you can create your own Icons for apps. And so I made one and then deleted the real app, and I clicked on the icon I did and it brought me to Safari then it froze one the white screen. I can zoom in and out, and when I use the assisative touch it works but it wont go home. I've tried changing apps (mulitasking) and it wont do that. So I decided to leave it and see if it would even lock. I can home 2 hours later and the screen is just like shadowed... like its grey ish. But it won't lock and I cant get it to turn off. HELPPPP!!! Thanks

Push and hold the power and home button together until the phone reboots. And if you can't figure out the basics of your phones functions, don't be messing with it.
