Hi

I resetted my iphone 3g - 8GB using the "Erase all data and Settings" which removed the OS and all software from iphone. Now when i want to restore the iphone through itune, i dont have the backup of the iphone.

But my friends are having the iphone 3g/3gs. is it possible for me to take a backup of their phone ant restore it to my phone?

When i connect my iphone to itune it is detecting the phone but
display the message as

"No SIMcard is valid"

It is Jailbroken.

It is Jailbroken.

it was jailbroken, its not anymore.

Erase All Data and Settings doesn't erase the Operating System, it only erases the Data and Settings.

you do not want to restore your phone using your friends back-up, this will transfer all of their content (passwords, texts messages, internet bookmarks, games settings, phone numbers) on to your phone.

just to put in a valid sim card and plug your phone into iTunes.

nope, you should have made a backup

There's like 100 warning messages when you try to reset your iphone, how did you not read any of them

you will find no mercy here
