These past few days, my iPhone will ring several times a day as if I have a new text message. And I don't. (It's the text msg sound).

Usually, if there is a new message or notification of any kind, the screen will light up and the blue message screen will appear to tell you what it is, but this just stays as a black screen and no message at all.

Anyone knows why? I already tried restore to factory setting and re sync it again, but it still happen. I also turned off all the notification alerts from my apps.

Both of my devices did that at the same time last week. Only once and hasnt done it again though. Some sort of a push error or something.

Check to see that you haven't got a reminder set for your text messages, you can set the reminder up to ten times, and it may keep going off if you just close the message.

I don't think it's unread text msg. I've read all the text messages.
The iPhone just rang again a while ago with no notification. I guess it's not such a big deal... just a bit annoying to me. Lol.
