My iphone touch screen not responding! Help!!

This afternoon, my iphone has just stopped reacting to touch. I can recieve calls, but nothing else. It is stuck on my favorites list & won't dial when I call anyone. I didn't drop it or anything....any suggestions? Thanks!!

Have you tried to reset it, reboot and so on..

I'm new to all of this....I synced it again, turned it off & on. My ipod works on it, and other pages ...just notthe phone part! Could it be an ATT issue? So wierd!!

I really don't know as I only have the touch. Have you called apple yet.

Weird, holding down the home button should have done it. Thats the reset key for the iphone. Only other thing you can do is go to an Apple or AT&T store.
