Good write up! 
I still don't see why they had to release the touch without the mail app. IF it had it I'd chunk my phone for one since it is slimmer and has more storage. (after they get it hacked for 3rd party apps of course which became a close reality last night with the advancements hackintosh made)

How does the video and audio quality compare between the two? I know there have been problems with the iPod Touch video (apparantly resolved via a software update) but I am curious how the two compare head to head.
