I don't have find my iphone. They turned off the phone. What can I do?

There's not really much you can do.

You can file a police report as stated above, but that doesn't mean that you'd necessarily get it back.

I would just recommend calling your provider, telling them the phone was stolen and to put a block on your account until you get another phone.

Start shopping at Target instead. There's nothing you really can do. If you had tracking software installed prior to losing it or it being stolen you can try using it. If they reset the phone you're out of luck. If you have no such software or MobileMe on it you're again out of luck. You'll have to call AT&T to block your line from being used. The sad part is that there's no way to prevent someone else from activating it! >.>

Ok OP how was it "taken" from u in the first place?

yeah strange the OP says "taken" instead of the more obvious "stolen" or "jacked" !

Bummer

Well this is a bum deal for you. You have no recourse. None. Here is the problem. Apple could help you but it isn't really in thier interest to. You will likely go buy a new phone and now some schmuck that couldn't afford one has one and they get your money for a new device and then the schmucks money for the apps they buy. All they do is plug it in and setup as a new phone. In fact you can take it to an Apple store and they will do it for you without asking why it was registered to someone else. My father in laws iphone was taken at the court house. They got the lady on video. She was there for a court hearing and they had all of her information, name, address, etc. The Sheriff vowed to try to get it back. They had her clear as day on video mind you! Nothing ever came of it because at the end of the day it is a phone and nobody but you cares. I am sorry for your loss because it is such a frustrating, and upsetting situation.

You are asking a question that is really obvious...

What do you do when you lose your keys? Wallets? or your money?

It's the same thing with your iphone.

Grammar Nazi is coming out of me. You should have written, "I can't find my iPhone. They turned it off. What can I do?" I mean even a "dumb" Kentuckian like me knows that.

Who cares about his grammar. English not the first language of many people. No one wants you to be a teacher here. This topic is about a lost iphone and not his grammar. :)

OP, that sucks for you. There is nothing that you can do. File a police complaint and buy a new iphone off ebay or craigslist.

He was referring to Find My iPhone an app for MobileMe on iDevices. GG Incorrect Nazi.

He was referring to Find My iPhone, a tracking system Apple has for MobileMe subscribers.

You should stop shopping at walmart and go to Nordstrom if looking for clothes or Whole Foods is looking for food.

Trust me, nothing will get stolen there.
