Have just looked across my desk and it appears that my iPhone4 has died.

It won't switch on, or respond when put on charge or plugged into my laptop.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It is only 6 months old, so not very impressed. Does anyone know what support Apple might give?

Before you get critical have YOU read the manual?

The advice you have already received courtesy of the members is all in the pdf on Apple .com

You'll be amazed at how useful it is.

Glad you got it working. Mine has froze several times and always comes back with a home/power reset.

To answer your question about Apple support, if they couldn't fix the phone, they would have replaced it as it was still under the 1 year warranty period.

Honestly I don't mind if you ask questions on here however easy or simple they are to answer so long as its not something like "What is iPhone"...lol but just for future reference its generally advsiable to try a bit more self diagnostic skills before posting. It would be like going to the doctor for a low grade fever without trying paracetamol, hydration and rest first then seeing how you feel. Glad you got your device working though!
