My iphone4 wont record HD video.

I got the phone about a month ago. I did a test video and uploaded it to youtube and it was in HD along with the several different quality choices when viewing on yt. Now i record a video... very crappy grainy only the two lower quality choices when viewing on yt. It crappy before i even get it to youtube. Is there some kind of setting I messed with? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I also i have 3.9 GB available if that is part of the problem?

Which camera are you using? Front or back?

The rear camera records in HD but remember, the front-facing camera can only record in 640x480 resolution. Maybe you recorded with the front camera?
