I bought my iphones 3gs 2 years ago and since last november it has been continuously turning off at random times, when even the battery is full, and if it isn't plugged in, it will just keep turning off right after it's turned on. So i reseted the settings and this got better.
Then i updated it to ios 5 and the phone starts to turn off only when i'm outside, then a few days after it kept on showing the loading logo. I left it at there, and when the ios 5.1 came out I put it on DFU mode and updated it. Now, it's much better than before i updated to ios 5, but it still turns off when I go out.
The funny thing is that it has no problems when I'm at home, when I'm only using the wi-fi. All my friends are smartphone users so when i'm at home i use the messenger apps or send iMessages. But when i'm outside, with the cellular data on, i send imessages or messages using messenger apps,(like all of these in one go) and it turns off. So when i found this out, i kept the cellular data off and take around the charger so i can use the cellular data.
But i really like to send messages so, with the cellular data off, i send sms to friends. And then it turned off when i was sending messages to lots of people at one go.
So basically, when it's on wi-fi, no problems, even if i send lots of messages, photos and videos. But when i'm doing the same thing with the cellular data on, it just turns off, and it even happens (but much later on than with the cellular data on), only on 2g. BTW, it doesn't turn off if i don't do anything.
I thought it was the battery problem and when to see if i could fix it. But the man said he doesn't really know what the problem is and thinks it may be because of the antenna...
I would like to know if any of you guys have a clue of which of them are causing these problems?
