My classic 160 started to skip this past week. Maybe like a small skip every 10 minutes or so. It also kinda stutters the start of a song when I skip tracks sometimes now. It never did it before.

Only thing I did recently is add some more music and some standup DVDs to it. Should I try defragging it or something?

All my music is 320kbps mp3. Have about 50gigs of music and 15gigs of video.

Thanks!

You can run hard drive test through Disk Utility (make the iPod in disc mode) or restart the iPod (hold Menu and center) then when it is restarting *BEFORE THE APPLE LOGO* hold the Center and rewind. This will create a beep noise and you can run hard drive test through the iPod. Let me know if it works.
