Ever since i have got my Ipod (%G 30gb) i occasionally have some difficultly getting it to sleep. sometimes after i charge it it just wont sleep and it just have to wait a while or restart the iPod for the sleep function to work.

I have the latest software installed on my iPod and that didnt seem to fix the issues at all. i even placed the sleep button on my iPods main menu and sometimes when i press that it disobeys me.

Thankfully after a while it does sleep and the function does work most of the time. its just annoying that it donesnt sometimes. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if its a known issue.

Thanks Bobak

yeh, mine too.

Mines the 60gig version, the menu's are reallllly sluggishhh too, driving me mad.

Reformatting tonight to see if it solves the problem.
