iPod My Ipod Nano 2ndGen battery just died after a week.. SUCKS!!

Is anyone else having this problem with the Nano?

This morning I woke up and noticed that my beautiful blue nano wouldn't come on at all.. it was dead. Even though last night it had a full charge.. I quickly hooked it up to my computer to see what was going on.. the battery was completly dead.

Now and 1hour and a half later of charge time later and the battery STILL isn't even able to hold a small charge.. soon as I disconnect it from my computer the Nano dies. MY NANO DIED AFTER ONLY A WEEK OF USE!!!

This is my 1st ipod so I don't know what to do.. can anyone help me with that?

PS: I noticed that my Nano was making a small nerve shredding atonal/buzzing sound when on(I had to bring the Nano close to my ear to hear it though) was that a symptom of a problem? I just thought all Nano's did that.

Call Apple. Be nice but firm. They'll make it right.

Take it back and get it replaced.

That's what the warranty is for.

Make sure they give you a brand new one. If not, you can always threaten to return it (which they must honor with no restocking fee since the unit is DOA).
