That thing coming out of the bottom is an iPod sock I keep it in. I set it on top of it to keep the back from getting scratched.

If you mean the negative looking blacks, yes, I do. It is horrid, but I don't watch many movies on the Touch so it won't bother me much.

this screen problem is simply amazing to me. the touch is no longer a dedicated music player, its a dedicated media player. video SHOULD look outstanding.
