iPod touch My iPod touch screen turns white during charging. Help?

Ok, I just got a 2g touch for Christmas and whenever I turn it off and leave It overnight to charge I come back and the screen is white. And when I tap the sleep/power button it turns back on. Then I turn it off and plug it back in it goes back to white. Can this be fixed? Will I need to return it? Can I return/exang it if I had apple engrave my name? Thanks to all and merry day after Christmas!

Sounds like it has a defect. Normally, Apple would swap it out for a new one but since you got it engraved, you'll have to go for a repair. Maybe a nice genius will swap it for a new one and use your old back case.
