I know theres multiple threads in this forum about this, but none of them worked for me.
I have a (1st Generation?) Ipod Touch. I was using it the other night and it started freezing and going really slow so I tried to restart it by holding the power & home button for 5 seconds. It restarted, and hasn't turned back on! I left it plugged in over night and it still did nothing. It hasn't responded to further restarting. It just shows the little apple then goes back to a black screen. I don't know what the problem is. Its never been hacked or Jailbroken.

If anyone could tell me I'd reallly appreciate it!!

Otherwise I guess i'll just call Apple? Will they replace it?

The ipod is in DFU mode and all you need to do is:
1. plug it into your computer
2. once plugged in hold the home and power button
3.After a few seconds or so Windows might recognize the new hardware
iTunes
4. It is now safe to stop holding
5.iTunes will now want to restor

Hope this helps!:)
P.S. Apple will not replace it since it is out of the limited warranty.(unless you have apple care)
