my iTunes freezes when I download podcasts =(

running iMac w/ snow leopard, I click to update all my podcasts and itunes freezes my whole computer up forcing a hard shutdown. anyone have any ideas? thanks

When you reboot, run the Console.app in your /Applications/Utilities folder and look for something around the time of the problem. If there's something obvious, you should be able to fix it. If not, post it here and we'll take a look.
