I NEED HELP.

My whole iTunes has translated itself into Hebrew(at least I think it's Hebrew)!

WHY!

How could it have done this?

First thing to try: Go into Font Book and resolve duplicates (Edit menu -> Resolve Duplicates) and possibly also Validate fonts and files (from the File menu).

You haven't, by any chance installed or removed any fonts (Helvetica or variants) lately?

See if this helps:

To change your language settings on a Mac:
Open System Preferences by selecting it in your Dock or the Apple menu (Apple > System Preferences).
Choose View > International.
Drag your language of choice to the top of the list.
Quit System Preferences.
Quit and reopen iTunes.

No use.

Hebrew isn't even on the list of languages for iTunes, and I removed the duplicate fonts aprat from Lucida Grande, which won't let me get rid of 2 duplicates.

Should I try a clean install of iTunes?

Yeah. I dunno if they'd believe me.

Done a clean reinstall and it is STILL HEBREW!.

mhf.

I only have one suggestion left. As a last resort, you could try this! :D

Actually, I do have another suggestion, after giving this more thought. It's possible you have a font corruption problem. If you want to remove the Hebrew font and save some space on your system, you can download and run Monolingual, a free app that removes unwanted language resources from your system.

I'm guessing this isn't normal for a plist.

Its friggin ages of AAAAAAAAEEESESAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA etc.

Did you try the Monolingual in my last post? Did you try deleting your plist?

This will give you more info on plist deletion.

I've done the language thing and done a clean reinstall and deleted the .plist twice.

Trying the monolingual thing now.

EDIT: Monolingual is useless, it keeps crashing.

I know that, but it was Hebrew.

And I wasn't expecting a perfect translation of my whole iTunes library in an instant from English to Hebrew by accident.

That's a first. So weird. I wonder if Apple has encountered that before. May be you need an exorcists instead of tech support.
