Okay, this is one strange problem I'm having. A while back I had a problem with iTunes crashing, so I fixed that. Now, I'm having the opposite problem: iTunes wants to stay open all the time. I press command-Q and then, after being closed for less than one second, the friendly iTunes window pops back up. Usually it will stop after a few times, but earlier, I had to actually restart my computer to get it to stop. How can I teach iTunes to do as it's told?

Do you have any iTunes-related widgets or third-party apps open? They can sometimes keep forcing iTunes to open.
