I have a 24" LED Cinema Display and I've been using Adobe Lightroom 2 to edit photos. I began to notice that many of my photos seemed slightly underexposed when I viewed them on my MacBook Pro and other computers. I then compared the same photo on both screens at the same time and realized that my LED screen was brighter than my MacBook Pro screen and this was the reason for the underexposures.

I love how bright the screen is most of the time but I want to use it to edit photos and it's just to bright to do that accurately. Solutions?

Thanks!

You should also calibrate your display as outlined here and here.

If you're super-serious about accurate colors and photo editing is your profession, then look into getting a colorimeter such as the MonacoOPTIX.
