I can't seem to find a straight answer on how to reformat this little nano. I'm assuming my mac won't recognize it because it's been used with a pc. Although I didn't have this problem with my much new 160gig classic, which was also synched first with a pc ?

Anyway- I've already backed up the nano and saved the playlists. what's the best way to get my mac to see it ??

Any help appreciated

Just completely restore it and reload it. Pretty simple as I ended up having to do that to an old 1gb Nano I picked up a few months ago but didn't have the password for.

Thanks for your response- I ended up having to do just that on an old PC I have. I was able to pull all the play lists off of it and restore it from the PC. then after the restore, the mac recognized it and I restored it again so that it's formatted for the mac.

thanks again !
