So all the things which use my location seem to work.

Noticed this in track my iPhone first.. but the same in maps

It tracks me to 5 miles away. It's always worked until a week or two ago.

Anyone else had this?

A reinstall of iOS could fix it.. but not worth the trouble

Maybe you've just been getting a bad signal lately. Doubt it's a hardware thing if you haven't thrown your igadgets at the wall.

Bad signal to :S?

Umm, I'll try on my iPod touch. Not got 4.2 so no find my iPhone but the maps will work

EDIT: Same location on that. I'm going to try tomorrow using my MiFi and then at college using that network

This has happened to me before. Truth is that the location features on the iPhone just aren't so good. It doesn't happen all the time, and luckily very rarely when I using GPS, but when Im searching in maps I do notice that my location is often wrong. Not terribly, but definitely wrong.

I sometimes find in particular locations that I appear to be driving down a parallel road for a mile or two. Weird but not too panic-inducing.
