"My Location" help

I got my 3Gs today and when my map searches for me, (at my house for instance).....it's not accurate anymore like my old phone. It shows a point on the map about a half a mile away. I'm into geocaching so it bothers me.

Is that just a satellite thing? Shouldn't it be more accurate?
