As the title says.... The Touch ID button on my M1 MacBook Air no longer clicks. I'm wondering if this is a common issue or no? I bought my M1 laptop new in 2020 and it has been a solid machine since day one. I wonder how difficult would it be to replace the Touch ID button or if I can just live with it the way it is?

Could be clogged with dust or some particle. Try blowing around the key with compressed air.

Also tbh I don't think I've EVER clicked my Touch ID button on purpose. I know it clicks, but I don't seem to have a use for it. I don't put the machine to sleep when it's open.
