please i need your help

my mac book pro suddenly shut sown and not working again when i connect external hard disk of my friend it was 98% charge and it was on battery
now it is like piece of metal no light and not working at all
when i connect the charger there is blinking light not shown only in dark room
please advise

Try an SMC reset.

Happen to me once when I tried to connect a faulty lightning cable.
I think the computer its protecting itself. Try another HDD cable If you can get it to boot.

There is literally over a dozen things that could of caused this. I would take it in to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store for a consultation and repair if necessary.

Apple should have Apple Authorized Service Providers there at least. If under the limited warranty or AppleCare, it is covered at an AASP.
