It has bin acting weird and first it was just a highlight thing where I took it in and they said it was just the track pad, so they said they fixed it. Well they did not fix it and everyone in a once in a while it would do this. So to make it stop I would have to push the power button, if I did do it, it would not go away, Now, it just happened again and, I cant log on. I know my password is correct and user name. Luckily, I made a second account, with out a password, so I am on account. :D But I cant log on to the other account :(. If that is not it the last thing I installed was iTunes 10 for Apple.com Please help

Sounds like you downloaded a codec to watch a special "video".

What do you mean downloaded special "video"?

Also, I just restarted my computer and I back on but do you think it will happen again and how do I stop it?

Backup your data and reinstall Mac OS X or have a look at Activity Monitor ( Applications / Utilities / ) and select All Processes and sort by Process Name to see what the culprit may be.

image below uses sorting by CPU as an example

Then press CMD+A to select all processes, CMD+C to copy them to the clipboard, and paste the clipboard into your next post via CMD+V.

Btw, I like to add: There are currently no viruses in public circulation, that affect Mac OS X.

You don't have a virus: Mac Virus/Malware Info

As the above poster alluded to, do you have installed any software from an untrusted source and entered a password to do so? Examples would be: codecs to watch some kind of video via the browser, cracked software, software, that is not advertised through proper channels, ...

I played RuneScape with my friends last week for the first time ever (did not like it) and my computer got a half black screen and froze twice. But that is not when the highlighting started

Have you also taken a look at MRoogle, since that question may have been asked several times?

what is this highlighting issue? you havent even explained it. you said your trackpad was replaced and thats it.

dont think something is automatically a virus if you have what seems like a hardware issue. also what does forgetting your password have to do with a virus? sounds like more of a user mistake to me.

It was not a user mistake, I entered it 37 times (I counted) And it would not work and ever time, I retyped my user name and password and then I decide to restart my computer and it work. First try

if it worked after you restarted then it is a hardware (im guessing, maybe software) issue and not a virus (there are currently no viruses) screwing with your account.

what is the highlight issue? reinstall and it if still has issues take it to be fixed and explain your issues.
