My Mac is running like a pc =(

Don't know what happened , but today when I arrived home from university , my macbook started awful..! Even this morning it was running as it always do..=)

But today wagh , it was like standing on a pc with windows Me on it!

It startups very well but I can't use the Finder or any other applications cause it hungs up!

Im from my sister's mini right now.... cause my macbook well =(

Help me please

PS I've did a hardware test and everything went just fine

Have you tried repairing permissions? If you can't do anything once you start it up, then insert the OSX repair/install disk and boot up from it by holding the C key. Then go to Disk Utility-->Repair permissions.

Try downloading and running Onyx. I'd select 'Automation' and check every box.

speaking of Onyx...

is it safe to run the different sections of it with the checkmarks that come with it, already checked off? I wasn't sure what some were and thought I'd check here first before running it.
