My Mac is Stuttering

Hi,

I have a MBP 2.2 ghz, 2gb, its about 16 months old.

Over the last few weeks its been stuttering. What i mean is, it hangs. Web video (or any video) the picture will freeze for a moment or every 30 seconds or so, games the same thing. even word processing the cursor will stop and Ill keep typing and then the words wil all appear in a chunk.

Any thoughts?
