My Macbook is about a year old. It works great in every way except that I get thrown off of my wireless broadband connection multiple times a day. I get the "you're not connected to the internet" screen accompanied by a flashing red DSL light on the modem.

When I am anywhere else(school, work, other houses, etc..) I don't have a single problem with it. The only reason I've concluded that it must be my Mac is that my wife's computer has no problems on the network, and my desktop and iPhone have zero problems as well.

I've had tech support from AT&T come out on multiple occasions and nothing appears to be wrong with their connection. They even gave me a new modem for free, and the problem continues.

I have had my Mac into the Apple store where they told me that my wireless capabilities were perfect.

I'm considering getting an Airport Extreme in hopes that it might remedy the problem but would like to know if there is something I may be overlooking. I'm not the most tech savvy guy out there.

Thanks
L
