My macbook is rebelling against quicktime

hey guys.. so im trying to figure out how to use iphoto so i was going to watch the tutorials on it on apple.com... but quicktime won't load and my macbook is starting to freak out and get hot. haha. anyway, so do any of you have any suggestions on how to remedy this? thanks for your advice!

i dont think it is. i just thought of that so i checked and i need some updates. but my computer asked for my password and of course i dont remember/know it because my brother set up my computer for me. so i basically i fugged up too many times and my computer wont let me try the password anymore.. ha dang it- fail! oh well, i'll try to fix this later im too lazy

When you figure out the password, update your quicktime, restart and try again. Let us know how it turns out.
