Wow that was fast... Although, I did purchase it within 5 minutes of the store going online after keynote.

I receive it on the 16th and this is Fedex Ground.. woot!
 
This is just unfair. I purchased mine just as keynote finished, and still it says estimated delivery November 4th. Just because I'm in the UK. I sold my Macbook over a month ago in anticipation of this release. :mad:

I picked one up at my local Apple Store a few hours ago for my flatmate. First one off the truck.


Check my other posts for picture of the Apple staff setting up the new MacBook for display.

Same here, I was only able to find one unboxing video online (Slash Gear's), and as usual with their unboxings, it sucked. He didn't even unbox the entire thing, just the computer, and half of the box and computer were out of the screen. I love unboxing pics and videos for some reason...

New Macs always seem to be behind everywhere else in the UK. In the US they ship within 1 - 3 working days, yet here it's 7 working days, plus delivery which takes another week on top of that.

Did you order a 2.0ghz or 2.4ghz model? I ordered a 2.0ghz model about an hour after the Keynote and is estimated to arrive on or before 29th-30th October.
 
Does that mean I can get it on 17th if I order by 11am tomorrow? I live in LA. Is it shipped from Shanghai, China like iPod?
 
I am in Los Angeles. Mine shipped from China. Est. delivery is the 20th. :( I placed my order 5 hours after the keynote and got my shipped notice late that night.


The UPS shipping info says EXPEDITED shipping (sounds good to me). The product name is WORLD EASE, whatever that means.
 
In the UK the new Macbooks have a 7 day expected dispatch time. Not sure why. I didn't customise mine in any way, it's just the standard 2.0GHz Aluminium MacBook.

Same here mate. Not only do we have to pay more, we also have to wait the longest! It should all be worth it though! When's your expected delivery date?
 
Thats awesome. Congrats you guys! Im still undecided whether to go MBP or the new MB. That why i haven't ordered already.

Could one of you post some 3dMark06 numbers when you get it (that is if any of you are going to install Windows on it). That would be soo nice, since there are few (if any) reliable tests of the new 9400M card.
