Hello i recently got my old macbook working againb there was a soddering done in it to make it work again its a 2008 aluminum unibody and after the fix the guy said that the keyboard no longer worked he said water damage was dont to a pc,ps chip not quite sure what its callled there was no power to it tho so i dont think it did majot damage i was wondering if you guys would know what the chip is and if it would be possible for me just to replace the keyboard and live on thx

thanks i think its worth paying the 300$ considering that a new mac is like 1k so its worth it and this one is really precious to me
