Hey! =)

I've got a little problem here, I've set up that my Mac goes to sleep within 7 minutes of inactivity (when connected to power). It is connected to power and then I went out and I turned back like in 30 minutes and the computer wasn't sleeping! surprisee! haha this is happening long time ago and I want to know If there's a way to solve this.

And I've checked that nothing is using the internet! =)

Thanks in advance

A bunch of poorly written programs can interfere with sleep. Firefox, for instance, appears to inhibit sleep mode. Also, Mozy backup does. But there are lots of others. Try seeing if it will sleep with nothing loaded. Then load programs to test to see which one is causing the trouble. It's a nuisance for sure. But I very much doubt it's a hardware issue or anything serious. Just bad software. Now, having said this, I think Apple should make OS X less vulnerable to programs that mess with sleep mode.
