my macbook pro closes terminal after like 2 hours, if i dont touch it :(

hey there,

i need terminal to run constantly, for this programme im using when im away.

however it tries to close after like 2 hours of no interaction with it



anyone know to make terminal not try close itself?

In what way is it trying to close? Terminal should never do anything but sit there waiting for input. I have three or four terminal windows open right now, and they've been sitting there for days getting used only occasionally (a lot less than every two hours I'm at my computer).

Is it crashing on you, is your program aborting, or are you getting some kind of popup message?

All I can think of is that he is SSH'd (or some other remote tool) and that connection is timing out causing the connection to close.
