my MacBook pro doesnt load

Okay so I recently intalled 10.5.3 leopard update on my macbookpro and it seems it doesnt load at all
after I log on my account it stays on the screen with the leopard space picture and it just stays like that
Nothing happens at all
pleAse I need some help
nothing happens I've done a disk repair by inserting leopard cd but nothing happened


Anything would be nice

Call Apple...1-800-APL-CARE....you have AppleCare correct?

Try a "Safe Boot" to see if this corrects the issue (this takes much longer than a regular boot).

If that fails, see if you can startup in Single User Mode (hold down command-s keys at startup)

If you can, then type these commands (in bold) followed by the return key:

/sbin/fsck -fy

If there are errors reported repeat the command (up to 6 times) until you get a clean pass.

Then type:

mount -uw /

rm -rf /Users/yourshortname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow.plist

where "yourshortname" is the name of your home folder (usually your short name as an administrator)

rm -rf /Users/yourshortname/Library/Preferences/loginwindow.plist

reboot

See if that fixes your problem. I also suggest you download the 10.5.3 combo updater and install that in Safe Boot mode (even if you have upgraded already).

Yeah that's what apple suggested that didn't work
so they suggested to re install leoprd which I am doing now
lets see if that works

okay I just installed a fresh new copy of mac leopard but big problems are occuring
One is that iTunes doesnt work it keeps freezing and
when I try to restart, the desktop icons dissappear but the doc and the apple Menu stay and it doesnt restart just stays like that
what happening!? This has never happened before
its not over heating and know I did not ad new hardware somebody help please

but the applications in the dock do work when I go to force quit and look at finder it says not responding
whats happening!? This has never happened before
