My Macbook pro is having issues

so what happened is that i wanted this macbook pro i got off amazon to return to factory settings. unfortunately they didn't give me the disk so i tried to find an alternative way. when i googled it in a forum they said if u pressed command s and typed what they put then typed reboot it should return to factory settings. the problem is when i did that the computer screen went black. when i tried to restart it the screen was still black. now a couple days later i go back to see if its still acting up but now it wont even turn on even though its plugged in. does anyone know what happened?

Order a Lion USB key or Snow Leopard DVD from Apple.
