My macbook pro will only turn to show to apple logo, no further?

My macbook pro will only turn on and show the apple logo. Then once it gets to the logo it freezes at that point. I bought my macbook pro in 2007. I tried shuting it down and turning it on several times and it keeps getting frozen. Please help. Thanks

You could try reseating the ram. If you have more than one stick than take one out and try to restart and see if it works.

Otherwise...not sure
