My MacBook seems to short out when opened unless at a certain angle?

I just got my MacBook last October and for some reason I have to open it to certain angles or I get a blank screen. Does anyone know why? Do you think I have some sort of short? Thanks so much in advance. I am new to this forum and I am not sure if someone will be able to help.

Sounds like the cable that powers the screen is bad ... Call Apple or take it to the store.
