Well actually I formatted my USB flash drive today in ExFAT and somehow it says it was modified on January 1st 1980. This is impossible as the actual Macintosh came out on January a little more than four years later.

I checked my computers date and time and it says November 11th 2010 so... even though this isn't a big deal I included a screenshot.

Why do you think it says that?

That's the modified date of the flash drive, not the age of your Mac. Repair permissions.

Thanks!

Sorry I'm a bit slow today. Repair premissions on the flashdrive?

I have been meaning to repair them on my HD (because I'm compulsive but I keep forgetting)

Thanks again!
