my macs don't like bbc

I have a strange problem on my two macs, ibook and macbook pro. I can listen to any web radio without any problems except bbc, not a single channel of it. It makes no difference if I listen to it directly or using a real player. First few words are ok but then it starts cutting the voice. It's silent when it's loading and then suddenly there is some too quick donald duck speech. But most of the time it's just silent. Listening to bbc using a pc, no problem of any kind. Can anybody suggest what to do.
